My Name is Cara. I currently live in Washington State. I say currently because we are a US Navy Family.. and we move, a lot! I’ve been married for almost 16 years and we have two kids that are 14 and 11. Also, we have 2 American Eskimo Dogs that entertain us daily!
I love to cook, craft, decorate my home, read a book when I can and spend time with friends and family.

Cara,
I just came across your website where you spray painted an old round table and chairs black. I have a very light oak round table just like yours, and would love to spray paint it black to match my newly done cabinets and backsplash in our kitchen.
Did you sand before spray painting? Did you use the johnson’s wax to give it a shiny finish? Or did you use some kind of polyurethane on top to finish it off? I am really wanting to paint mine now after seeing how beautiful yours turned out. Thanks for answering. Peggy

Thanks for stopping by my blog a couple weeks back. I’ve gotten behind on returning emails and responding to comments lately. I love your post about blog rules and such. A person could become very overwhelmed and feel insignificant as they browse through Blogland. I totally agree with Rue’s take on blog rules
